Welcome!

Hi, Everyone! My name is Sydney and I am currently a freshman at Mizzou!  This year has brought me the most amazing opportunities and some of the biggest hardships.  I wanted to make this blog to provide tips for incoming freshman, or just high school seniors considering Mizzou. Freshman year is not always a breeze, but I'm sure you'll make it through if you put your mind to it!

Anyway, a few things about me to get you familiar with me.
I'm from a very small town in South-Eastern Missouri (3 hour drive!).  In high school, like a lot of you, I was involved in EVERYTHING and Mizzou was a scary thought coming from a small high school where I knew everyone and had a lot of friends. Here at Mizzou, I live in Johnston Hall (my residence hall will be switching next semester due to renovations but I'll talk about that later), I'm in a sorority, and I am a Textile & Apparel Management major.  Mizzou has, so far, been everything I've hoped for in a college and hopefully it will be for you, too!

In this blog, I'll be posting about the best and worst dorms, the food, what you should bring, social life, and all of that fun stuff. I'll also be talking about tools to help you with academics because, let's face it, Mizzou is expensive and you need to make your time here worthwhile!
